Fallons Bus Service is looking for a reliable, friendly and safety-focused Full Time School Bus Driver to join our team.

This position will operate the Yarrawonga to Wangaratta school run Monday to Friday, along with supporting our wider bus operations.

What the role involves

• Monday to Friday school bus run between Yarrawonga and Wangaratta
• School shuttle services
• Charter and group work
• Occasional route service work
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Keeping the bus clean and presentable, inside and out
• Providing a friendly and professional service to students, schools and passengers
• Maintaining a strong focus on passenger safety at all times

What we’re looking for

• A minimum MR (Medium Rigid) driver’s licence
• A current Victorian Working with Children Check
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner
• A strong commitment to safe driving and passenger safety
• Good reliability and punctuality
• The ability to sit and drive for extended periods
• To be physically fit enough to safely perform the duties of the role
• Pride in keeping the vehicle clean and well presented

Victorian Drivers Accreditation Certificate is preferred.

If you don’t currently hold your Victorian Drivers Accreditation Certificate, don’t let that stop you from applying.  We are happy to consider suitable applicants who are willing to obtain their accreditation.  Please note that the accreditation process can take up to 6 weeks, so early applications are encouraged.

Previous bus driving or similar driving experience is preferred but not essential – training will be provided to the right person.

When does the role start?

The position is planned to commence mid to late September 2026, with training to be completed prior to commencing the regular school run.
